Woman rushed to hospital after plunging from block of flats on Scots street

A woman has been rushed to hospital after plunging from a flat window this morning.

Cops have locked down a flat block in Perth following the incident.

Emergency services raced to Rannoch Road, around 11.15am today after a woman fell from a flat window.

She has been taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment and the extent of injuries is not yet known.

Police have launched a probe and taped off the area as they establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

But it understood the fall is not believed to be suspicious.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received report of woman having fallen from the window of a flat on Rannoch Road in Perth around 11.15am on Saturday, 25 September, 2021.

"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
