Woman rushed to hospital after falling from flat window in Tollcross

A woman has been rushed to hospital after falling from a flat window in Tollcross, in Glasgow's east end.

Police were called to Tennyson Drive earlier this afternoon.

The 30-year-old woman was taken Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment as police launch an investigation into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.30pm on Sunday, 10 May, 2020, officers were called to a report of a 30-year-old woman having fallen from the window of a flat in Tennyson Drive, Glasgow.

"The woman has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service. Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances."
