Woman rushed to hospital after falling from Anniesland railway bridge

A woman was rushed to hospital after falling from a railway bridge in Glasgow's west end.

Emergency services sped to Anniesland after the alarm was sounded yesterday evening.

It is understood the woman's injuries are not life threatening, while the incident isn't being treated as suspicious, police confirmed.

British Transport Police say: "BTP were called to Anniesland rail station at 6.24pm on 20/05 following a report a woman had fallen from a bridge.

"The woman suffered injuries to her back and legs, she remains in hospital.

"Her injuries are not deemed as life threatening and the incident is not being treated as suspicious."
