A woman has been rushed to hospital after being injured in a car crash in Moray.

Police say she was involved in the collision in Elgin on Saturday afternoon, however her condition is not known.

The smash took place at around 1.50pm in the town's New Elgin Road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.50 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021, police and emergency services were called to a two-vehicle road crash on New Elgin Road, Elgin.

"A female driver from one of the cars has been taken to Dr Gray's Hospital for treatment - no detail on injury.
