Woman rushed to hospital after being injured in late night robbery on Glasgow street

A woman has been rushed to hospital with injuries after being assaulted in a late night robbery in Glasgow's west end.

The incident happened at around 11pm yesterday (October 28) on Havelock Street.

Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of the robbery, and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment. Her injuries have been described as non-life threatening.

Police Scotland has confirmed they are investigating the incident.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called around 11pm on Wednesday, 28 October, 2021, following the report of a robbery on Havelock Street, Glasgow, during which a woman was assaulted.

“Officers attended and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Enquiries are currently ongoing.”
