Woman rushed to hospital after being hit by motorbike in Walkinstown, Dublin

A woman was rushed to hospital after she was hit by a motorbike yesterday.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following the serious collision, which happened at around 9.45pm on Thursday, April 24 on the Cromwellsfort Road, Walkinstown, Dublin.

The female pedestrian, in her 20s, was struck by a motorcycle on that road at that time.

She was taken to St James' Hospital with serious injuries.

The motorcyclist, a male in his 30s, was taken to Tallaght University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gardai at Crumlin Garda Station are appealing for anyone who was in the area on Thursday, April 23 from 9.30pm to 10pm who may have witnessed the collision or any road users who may have camera footage to contact Crumlin Garda Station on 016 666 200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
