Woman reveals trick that puts baby to sleep in seconds and says it 'works every time'

A woman has shown a hold that may help get babies to sleep and claims that it works every time, even when her baby is in a bad mood.

On TikTok, where her username is @beckywilko82, she uploaded a video for mums like her who were struggling to get their little ones to sleep. The video now has more than 400,000 views.

She said she was 'having one of those days' with her youngest son who has colic and appeared quite distressed.

She then used the 'tiger in the tree' hold, and all of a sudden her child looked relaxed and comfortable.

Parents wished they knew the calming hold sooner, according to the Mirror.

Becky said: "Ok so I've held him like this before not knowing what it was.

"An hour later he's fast asleep!"

The hold involves her flipping the baby onto his front, resting him on her arm and then patting his back.

Becky then shows another hold for babies with colic, which is similar to the first hold but holds her son's fists.

Commenters were amazed by how quickly the hold works, with one saying "Wish I'd of known about these 10 years ago, he's absolutely beautiful!"

Another commented "Oooh! Definitely one to try!"

And a third said: "Swear by this hold. Worked every time. Mine would fall asleep trumping away lol."
