One woman has come up with a genius method to make pizza in slow cookers.
The savvy home cook shared the recipe on the Crockpot/Slow Cooker Recipes & Tips Facebook group and quickly become a hero among pizza fans.
Manchester Evening News reports she shared before and after pictures of her creation as well as the recipe.
She wrote: "My first ever sc pizza!
“Jus-rol thin crust pizza base (in fridge section in supermarket tomato sauce comes with it).
"I added cooked chicken, peppers, mushroom, pepperoni, mozzarella slices , chillies and grated cheese…was in sc (slow cooker) on high for about 1 and a half hours… can't wait to taste it!"
One impressed group member said: "I made the pizza tonight, probably went over board with cheese though. It was amazing."
Another said: "Well done. Bet you used a dish towel under the lid to keep it from going soggy."
