Woman released in relation to Finglas €220k drugs and €18k cash seizure

A woman has been released without charge in relation to a raid that saw €220,000 of drugs and €18,000 in cash seized by gardai.

Two women were arrested yesterday after gardai stormed a house in Charlestown in Finglas.

Along with the drugs and cash, bags, weighing scales, cutting knives and documents were also seized.

One woman was released without charge but the second woman remains etained in Finglas Garda station under the provisions of Section 2, Criminal Justice Act (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Investigations ongoing."

The seizure came as a part of an investigation into the illegal drug trade on the northside of the capital.
