A woman was left red-faced after taking a picture of what she thought were clouds - but it turned out to be snow on the sunroof above her.
Twitter user Atousa was sat in her car and took a selfie, and thought the sky above her looked just right so she captioned her picture 'the sky!'
But then she noticed something didn't look quite right, and as she looked closer she saw that the clouds were actually much closer than they first appeared.
Then it clicked, she had photographed snow that had settled on the sunroof of her car - and she soon posted a follow-up image to own her hilarious mistake.

The woman initially shared the picture on Snapchat, but later posted the blunder on Twitter and now her post has had over 1.2 million likes.
Captioning her second picture, she wrote: “I’m so stupid, I thought it was clouds, it's f*****g snow on my sunroof!"
The woman posted the two images on Twitter, captioning the tweet, “On today’s episode of me embarrassing myself.”
She was soon inundated with comments as people enjoyed her amusing mistake.

One said: "Ok but I didn't realize it was snow until I saw the second photo lmao.
Then a second added: "I thought you are taking selfie inside ISS cupola module. And the background is earth and clouds. Even more embarrassing,"
And a third wrote: "I once called someone talking about there's an orange round thing in the sky. It was the sun setting. I was used to getting home late I forgot how the sun setting looked like."
