A woman remains in hospital after she was stabbed during a late night assault in Leigh.
Emergency crews were scrambled to Conway Close, in the Higher Folds area of Leigh, at 10.20pm, on Saturday night (June 6).
A 50-year-old victim was rushed to hospital with what police described as a 'life-threatening' injury.
Greater Manchester Police said the victim remains in hospital for treatment and is recovering from her injuries.
A 47-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of section 47 assault, has since been released on bail.
