A woman has been raped near Sauchiehall Street in the middle of the day.
Police confirmed they were alerted to a 'serious sexual assault' of a 29-year-old woman, on Scott Street in Glasgow city centre, which is understood to have taken place at around noon yesterday (Wednesday).
Officers say they are currently following a positive line of enquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a serious sexual assault of a 29-year-old woman on Scott Street, near Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
"The incident happened around 12pm on Wednesday, 24 June, 2020.
"Officers are following a positive line of enquiry."
