Police are investigating the rape of a woman in Glasgow's city centre.
Officers cordoned off West George Lane between Hope Street and Wellington Street following reports of a serious sexual assault on a 28-year-old female earlier this morning.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries are ongoing in the area of West George Lane following a report of a serious sexual assault on a 28-year-old woman on Friday September 20.
"Enquiries are at a very early stage."
