Detectives released CCTV of a man they would like to speak to after a lone woman was raped in a London alleyway.

The 24-year-old woman reported she had been raped by a man in an alleyway off Camden High Street shortly after 11.30pm on Saturday, October 2.

Police said the woman was followed as she left a nightclub to go and get some food at a kebab shop across the road.

A man talked to her in the kebab shop and groped her. She attempted to move away numerous times but he did not leave her alone.

When she left the kebab shop, the man followed her into an alleyway and raped her.

Detectives said she is being supported by specially trained officers.

DC Max Orange, the investigating officer, said: “We urgently need to trace the man pictured and I would ask anyone who recognises him to contact police immediately.

“I know that there are heightened concerns about violence against women in our city and we are working tirelessly to solve this crime.”
