BHOPAL: A 25-year-old married woman was allegedly raped by her relative in Kamla Nagar locality on Saturday.
The survivor stated in her complaint that around two days ago, she had gone to attend a wedding function. “On Saturday night, the survivor had consumed liquor along with other family members during the celebration and went for a ride along with a 24-year-old relative,” said investigating officer, SI Sharma, adding that around 10pm, they returned home and the accused relative allegedly outraged her modesty in inebriated condition, threatening her of dire consequences.
Next day, she somehow mustered courage and narrated the ordeal to her family members and approached the cops.
On her complaint, a case of rape was registered and the accused was arrested.
Woman molested by brother-in-law
A 26-year-old married woman lodged a molestation complaint against her brotherin-law and assault complaint against her husband at Ayodhya Nagar police station on Monday.
