Woman 'raped' at Loch Lomond car park as police launch manhunt

A MANHUNT has been launched after a woman was "raped" at a car park near Loch Lomond.

Police are appealing for help to track down a suspect after a 32-year-old woman was seriously sexually assaulted at Luss Public Car Park, near the national park.

The incident took place around 1am on Saturday.

The suspect is described as white, with blonde hair, and spoke with a Scottish accent.

Police Scotland is appealing for any information which could help with there investigation.

Officers are looking to hear from anyone who was in Luss Car Park between 11.45pm on Friday, September 26 and 12.30am on Saturday, September 27.

In particular, they are asking a group of people who spoke to the victim after the incident to get in touch urgently, as they may have vital information.

Anyone with dash cam or private CCTV from the area is also asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0270 of September 27.
