Woman raging as piercing appears to 'completely miss' her belly button

Many people who've ended up with a tattoo or piercing they regret may understand how one girl felt when she ended up with a belly piercing which "completely missed" her belly button.

While anything to do with needles and permanent scarring on your body should only take place after thought out research, but in reality, it doesn't always work out that way in reality.

A woman, who goes by the name Tyykidd on TikTok, has her belly button pierced in New Jersey, in the Unites States, and what she shared has left people divided, the Mirror reports.

"Never get your belly button pierced at the shore. Worst mistake ever," she wrote alongside the clip. "They missed the whole belly button. I want a refund for my time, money & FEELINGS."

In the clip, the woman showed off her belly piercing, which does appear very high - but many commenters pointed out she has a very small belly button, which could mean the piercing would not have fit in the ordinary place.

The woman warned against others getting piercings on 'the Shore' (tiktok/tyykidd)

"Girl, that's because you barely have a belly button," one TikTok user commented, while another added: "I didn't realise until seeing this video that mine is the exact same."

Meanwhile others questioned whether the piercer drew a dot on the skin first to check whether she was happy with the placement of the piercing.

"They should put a dot to show where the piercing will be, did they not do that for you?" one person asked, to which the woman responded: "They did... and then they didn't pierce where the dots were." Oh dear.

"Nah girl, that is a real stomach piercing," one person commented, while another joked: "Enjoy your abdomen piercing."

The woman later clarified that she had just had the piercing done when she filmed the clip and immediately took the piercing out so it would heal up.
