"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all," is something most of us are taught as kids.
But one man obviously missed the memo, as he was caught on camera body-shaming a woman while she was sat minding her own business in a dessert shop.
The "mind-blowing" video of the moment has since racked up millions of views on TikTok.
And people have rushed to the defence of the woman, with several viewers praising her "amazing" response to his "unacceptable" behaviour.
The "mean" comment was made to @ strawberrifyme, a self-professed strawberry lover who posts reviews of berry-based foods to her account.

In the clip, she can be seen holding up a strawberry-covered cake to the camera, before she is interrupted by a stranger.
The man asks: "Mademoiselle, are you going to eat all of that?"
She replies: "I don't know. I think I could."
But before she finishes, he continues: "That's the reason you are so fat. You know, I'm looking at you."
Without missing a beat, she responds: "Exactly, that's how I stay popular, being fat."
Having received a sarcastic answer, the man does not say anything more beyond: "Okay".
Explaining the quip she made, in a caption written across the video, the reviewer says that she was "not passing up saying stupid to something stupid".

The video then skips ahead to the woman continuing her review. "Entering my strawberry happy place," she writes.
Her video was flooded with comments from well-wishers, who apologised for her experience and commended her composure.
One person wrote: "I’m so angry for you. You handled that way better than I would have."
Another said: "Sorry you went through that." While others added "he is so miserable" and commented on "the audacity of strangers."
A different comment read: "They definitely wanted a reaction out of you to provoke you and you didn't give them that, queen," to which the woman replied: "Exactly and I devoured the cake utterly happy in strawberries."
