Woman praised for hiding 'genius' note after suspecting date has a secret girlfriend

When it comes to discovering your partner has cheated on you, there are some common ways you find out.

Most often, people discover the heartbreaking evidence on their other half's phone or laptop.

They might also pop up on a dating app, or a friend spots them at a restaurant, looking distinctively amorous.

But there are other gut-wrenching ways the truth comes out.

One woman was praised for deciding to leave a hidden note at her date's house, after becoming suspicious that he might have a secret girlfriend.

She went viral after sharing how she sent a message to alert the 'other woman' - if she exists.

In a video, the TikTok user shared her experience in a video that has been viewed more nearly two million times.

After meeting a guy at a bar, he invited her over to his house for lunch.

But the woman was feeling suspicious after spotting some tampons and pads in the bathroom - and decided to leave a note amongst the products.

It said: 'Girl, he's cheating'.

In the video, the woman advised: "Ladies if you're watching this, this is a sign to always keep a memo pad and pen on the fridge for easy access."

She defended herself in the comments after people pointed out that he could have a roommate, adding: "I haven't been to a man's house really since Covid started and Ontario is just opening back up.

"I don't even know what the average man has in his bathroom these days. It's interesting seeing how many men carry feminine products, it's actually really nice.

"He told me he has a roommate and who am I to argue about it. If this is his roommates, the worst that can happen is they find the dang note."

People were divided in the comment section, with some feeling it was over-the-top to leave a note.

One viewer commented: "Some men keep these for their menstruating friends, not just a partner and we praise those men for doing it."

But another said: "My ex used to tell girls that I was a roommate or that I was an ex and he was living with me because I was dirt poor. I paid the bills though."

A third added: "I think this is genius sorry, wish you'd left more context though in case he's innocent!"
