Woman pours milk over ex-lover's sofa after accusing him of doing 'the dirty on her'

A sour ex-girlfriend poured milk over her former lover's sofa after accusing him of "doing the dirty on her."

Furious Nicole Hoad broke into the home of old flame Owen Jones to catch him with the other woman.

Mr Jones came downstairs wrapped in a towel to discover Hoad, 50, in his living room in the early hours of the morning.

A court heard he shouted: "'What the are you doing?" before she flipped over a coffee table, broke wine bottles and poured the bottle of milk over his sofa.

Thomas Stanway, prosecuting, said: "The victim heard a noise downstairs in the early hours of the morning and went down to investigate.

"Miss Hoad flipped over a coffee table which caused wine glasses to smash," the court heard (WALES NEWS SERVICE)

"He shouted: "What the are you doing?'

"Miss Hoad flipped over a coffee table which caused wine glasses to smash.

"Mr Jones was only wrapped in a towel and called the police."

Cardiff Crown Court heard a bottle of wine was thrown which smashed on the wall.

Mr Stanway said: "Miss Hoad then poured a bottle of milk over his sofa. This is a case were there was the soiling and ransacking of the property."

Hoad was arrested and was found with a laptop wrapped in a jacket that she had stolen from the house.

Hoad, 50, of Pontymister, near Risca, Gwent, pleaded guilty to burglary with the offence being committed on October 19, 2020.

The judge said: "You were motivated by anger. You felt he had done the dirty on you" (WALES NEWS SERVICE)

Her only previous conviction was a drink-driving charge.

Recorder Mark Powell QC, told Hoad she "believed he perhaps wasn't behaving as he should have been."

He said: "You were motivated by anger. You felt he had done the dirty on you."

Recorder Powell added: "You acted in a way that was out of character. You shouldn't have done it - you know that."

Hoad was sentenced to a 12-month community order and was told to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
