Woman outraged as 'Insta-mum' tells her son to get out of Easter egg hunt snap

When it comes to Easter time, there is nothing children love more than an Easter egg hunt.

However, one parent was left furious after another parent interfered with her tot's fun, for the sake of a photograph.

Taking to the online forum Mumsnet, the unnamed woman asked if she was being unreasonable to be annoyed about the incident, in which an " Insta -mum" asked her child to "get out of shot", The Mirror writes.

She said: "We're on an Easter trail. I get that, for lots of people, it's all about the photos. But seriously, there were A LOT of plastic tat photo-ops available.

"Son is busy enjoying 'trying to read' a sign, when Insta-mum comes up, kids in tutus, bends down to son and tells him to get out of shot.

"Didn't even look around for a parent or whatever! I dutifully removed him, don't worry. Is she a cheeky f**k, or is it just me not getting with the times??"

Dozens of people responded to the mum's post, with many branding the other parent "entitled" for her behaviour.

"Very entitled she could have waited for him to finish reading the sign," wrote one.

Another said: "If she wanted a turn without anyone else there in a public place she should have waited for it. It's so rude to expect kids to stop their fun and move out of your way."

Someone else added: "I'd have plopped myself down right in shot, scratching my belly with one hand and by backside with the other whilst pulling faces.

"Can’t be doing with bloody Insta posers (we get them on our doorstep and along/in the street all the time around here). Mostly they are ok.

"I once watched a mum and her child and nanny - and a handful of other children getting in and out of a taxi, walk to a front door just down from up with birthday balloons and bags, having photos taken (mum directing).

"I was waiting for a friend on the corner for about 20 mins so saw the whole show. Then they all got back into the taxi and drove off. So a staged birthday party?

"Who looks at these staged shots anyway?"

A different user pointed out: "Why did you remove him? People can only get away with being cheeky f***ers if you let them."
