Woman orders stunning £150 dress online but what arrives leaves her crying with laughter

When it comes to ordering clothes online, there's always a bit of a risk, as you never quite know what you're going to get.

One way to ensure you're getting a good quality item is to do your research, look into the company, consider whether the price is reasonable and read through the product reviews.

However, even after doing all this, you can still end up receiving an item that looks nothing like you'd expected.

A TikTok user named Anna Dinh recently learned this the hard way, after spending $200 (around £150) on what she thought was going to be a stunning, sparkly blue floor-length gown.

But what arrived was something very different than she'd envisioned.

Anna shared a look at the hilarious online shopping fail in a video on social media.

In the clip, she posted a picture of the dress she thought she was buying, which looked like a floaty designer gown.

The dress she was sent was very see-through, with less sparkles and less shape to it.

Not even close to being the same dress!

Anna captioned her video, writing: "Can't ever trust ordering dresses online, smh."

Since being uploaded to TikTok, her video has been watched almost two million times, garnering over 350,000 likes.

After watching it, one shocked viewer commented: "SIS MY JAW DROPPED."

Another said: "The fact it's not even close."

Someone else asked: "Where did you order from so I know to stay the hell away from there."

A fourth replied: "OH GIRL THEY DID NOT."

A different user admitted: "I work at a special occasion store and we tell customers they really shouldn't order online but they don't believe us and this stuff happens ALL the time!"

A spokesperson for a bridal shop also commented, saying: "As a bridal boutique, THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS.

"The amount of times I have to explain to people that the place you are ordering from did NOT take the pic."

"This hurts my fashion designer soul," added a seventh.

How would you have reacted if you'd received the dress? Let us know in the comments below.
