Who among us hasn't had a hair disaster in their lifetime? Whether you've lopped off your own fringe and made a pig's ear of it or your box of home dye has left your tresses looking patchy, almost all of us have been there.
And while we accept the risks that come with doing your hair yourself, most of us don't expect to encounter the same setbacks when we go to a professional to pay for our hair treatments.
Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to one woman on TikTok named Chloe, who asked her hairdresser to make her a blonde and was eventually sent home with her hair in a bun - to hide the major mistake the stylist had made.

Chloe, who is from Australia, shared a video in which she explained she was blonde for years before her boyfriend at the time convinced her to dye her hair brown.
But after hating the way her brown locks looked, Chloe headed back to the hairdressers to get them to bleach her tresses back to blonde again - which is where everything went wrong.
In the video, which was posted on her @chloejade980 account, the woman revealed: "This was me a few years ago. White blonde, quite happy with my hair, and everything.
"Stupid me decided to get a boyfriend who convinced me to go chocolate brown. It was at this point in time I realised he was just trying to sabotage me [because of how bad it looked].

"I rushed into the hairdresser to get back to my desired colour. I told them the situation and they said it was fine.
"As I was sitting at the basin they said my colour had lifted better than they thought it would, and there was way less breakage than they had assumed.
"They then said 'We're going to send you home with your hair in a bun and a treatment [on it] as we don't want to put too much heat on it', and said I should come back for a trim in a week.
"When I got home, I realised this was why."
Chloe then shared pictures of her hair after the bleach, which was severely damaged and was much shorter than it had been before the dye job - as her hair had broken during the process.
The woman added in the caption that the salon still made her pay for her hair disaster.
And in the comments, people were quick to inform Chloe that the hairdresser should have known what would happen.
One person said: "That’s on the salon not telling you the truth, they should have left it for a month before trying to correct it."
While another added: "As a hairdresser, it makes me so mad to see this happen to people. I’m so sorry you had to go through this."
