Woman mortified as eyebrow disaster leaves her 'looking like Angry Birds'

A woman was left torn between tears and laughter after a supposedly disastrous eyebrow appointment left her "looking like Angry Birds." Footage shared to TikTok shows the woman looking very sorry for herself indeed in the passenger seat of a car, while her friend can barely contain her giggles.

At first, her eyebrows aren't visible, with the woman clasping her face in despair, while sobbing, "that girl really messed up my eyebrows". However, when she turns around to face the camera, her pal can be heard spluttering with laughter at the sight of her botched brows, causing her to cry even more.

The video has been shared by TikTok user Diana Avitu, who goes by the username @davitu23, with the title "When the eyebrow lady f**** up." It has since been viewed more than 6.6 million times and counting, with many followers sympathising and chuckling in equal measure.

One amused person wrote: "She gave you angry birds! Just draw them in a bit."

Another said: "At first I was like… she probably being all dramatic and they look good. Then she turned around… I busted out laughing"

Others knew how she felt all too well, with a third person empathising: "Literally traumatised. I’ve been there girl. After that, I stopped getting them done regularly and started doing them at home."

A fourth recalled: "I know the feeling! I once had my left eyebrow taken down to half an eyebrow. I cried. The lady said, 'don’t worry honey, [they'll] grow back'."

As previously reported by Cosmopolitan, a "healthy, un-traumatised" eyebrow hair follicle will take around three to four weeks post-tweezing to grow back to the point where it can be seen piercing through the skin. It will then take at least one more month before the hair once again reaches its full length.
