Woman mortified after ordering Boohoo dress that didn't even cover her underwear

Online shopping is great, but the one downsize is that every now and then you might get an item of clothing that looks absolutely nothing like it did on the website. We've all been there.

But, while most of us have experienced the heartache of buying an out for a night out and it ending up being slightly too big or slightly too small - one woman's shopping disaster is in a league of its own.

Kara Hall decided to treat herself to a plunging black sequinned wrap dress from Boohoo for her New Year's Eve night out, and it happened to be an absolute bargain at just £8... or so she thought.

When the dress arrived and Kara tried it on, she released it wasn't just plunging - it actually didn't even cover the majority of her body.

Taking to TikTok from the handle @karahall40, Kara asked: "What do I do?" before adding in the comments section: "Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimised by Boohoo?"

Judging by the comments section, it seems like an awful lot of people were raising their hands, as dozens of TikTok users revealed they had also ordered the exact same dress and found the same fault.

"Nooo way, I ordered this and it looked the exact same on me, I was mortified. I had to send it back," one TikTok user commented, while another added: "Omg I bought this too and sent it back for the exact same reason!"

Fortunately, Kara confirmed she had been able to alter the dress herself in the comments section, meaning it wasn't a complete waste and she didn't find herself without a New Year's Eve outfit. Phew!
