Woman 'mortified' after accidentally wearing inappropriate leggings to the gym

Choosing an outfit for the gym can sometimes be a longer ordeal than the actual time you spend out working on the machines. It can often be a lengthy saga of searching through your wardrobe to find the ideal matching sets - often dependant on what part of the body you're exercising.

However, a woman was left mortified after she accidentally wore the wrong pair of leggings to the gym rather than her usual get-up. Kendell Lopez - who boasts more than 5,000 followers on TikTok account @ms.kendelllopez - shared a clip to the popular video-streaming service, which captured her wearing the wrong bottoms.

"Wait for it lol," she said at the start of the clip.

She explained: "Don't wear see through pants on leg day... Not one person told me."

The clip documented Kendell on the leg press machine, which is also know as the squat machine and works on bones and joints.

While the TikToker was initially sat down to perform the workout, she was none the wiser to the mishap of her clothing.

However, after looking back at the footage of her workout, she stood up to walk away from the machine, where footage showed that Kendell's leggings were in fact completely see through.

Since posting, Kendell's video has raked in over 1.7 million views and raked in over 1,000 comments to date.

Flocking to the comment section, people were in debate about what they would do in a similar situation.

One person admitted: "Anytime I notice something like that at the gym, I just keep quiet. Last thing I need is someone calling me a creep or accusing me of staring."

A second said: "They shouldn’t say anything about your pants. That's your business…now your technique yeah that’s worth a conversation."

Meanwhile, a third wrote: "Never be afraid to speak up. Most of the time the person will be thankful. I had to tell a girl she started her period, I was terrified."

A fourth assured: "It's not that bad."

A different user said: "TBH, no one probably noticed or looked. I'm a gym rat and the last thing I'm there to do is see who's wearing what or notice."

A fifth penned: "I wear sweatpants on leg day for this very reason."
