Woman missing since last week last seen in South Chicago

A 34-year-old woman who has been missing since July 10 was last seen in the South Chicago community.

Mzima Davis was last seen in the area of 85th Street and Burley Avenue, Chicago police said in an alert. Her nickname is “Meme,” and she also goes by Janice.

Davis has bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, police said. She takes medication and frequents the area of 79th Street and Racine Avenue and 79th Street and Ashland Avenue in Gresham.

Davis is 5-foot-3, 120 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.
