Missing Woodlawn woman found

A woman missing from the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood since May has been found.

Charlene Peden, 67, was last seen May 10 near the 6100 block of South Vernon Avenue, Chicago police said in a missing person alert.

Police canceled the alert Thursday, stating Peden was found safely. Further details were not provided.
