Woman miraculously survives two lightnings strikes hitting SUV at traffic lights

A woman miraculously managed to escape two consecutive lightnings that struck her Toyota SUV as she stopped at some traffic lights in Siberia.

Anna Nakaznykh, in her 40s, was in a traffic queue in her RAV4 during a rainstorm in the city of Novosibirsk when her vehicle was hit.

Another motorist Galina Ershova, 41, in a car behind recorded the alarming two-in-one hit.

“I was blinded for a split second, I grabbed the steering wheel with a death grip,” said Galina as she watched the strikes.

“It happened so quickly.”

A slow motion video appears to show two distinct strikes on the SUV.

The Toyota was paralysed by the lightning but driver Nakaznykh and her passengers emerged unscathed, reported The Siberian Times.

“The people were just scared and that was all,” said Galina, a circus artiste, who drove past the stricken SUV without stopping.

Confirming she was unharmed, Anna later posted her complaint that no-one came to offer help after the lightning strike.

"I was the driver,” she said.

“Everything is fine with me and the passengers.

“I read the comments and I can say one thing, there were a lot of eyewitnesses.

“But no-one stopped. They all just went on.

“We called a rescue truck to take away the car.

“Now it is being repaired.”
