Woman maces security guard before fleeing with cart full of stolen goods on Black Friday

A woman maced a security guard while trying to flee with a cart full of unpaid goods on Black Friday .

CCTV footage captures two women, believed to be in their 20s, walking out of the Burlington Coat Factory in Northtown Mall, Minnesota, with baskets full of items.

As they walk toward the exit, a loss prevention officer can be seen running after them and grabbing their carts back into the store.

One woman, who dressed in a black jacket, sprays the officer in the face with mace while another woman, seen in a pink hooded jacket, flees the scene.

Another woman step up to help and is pushed over and knocked onto the shopping carts.

While the officer follows the pair outside the shop, a cash till assistant came to help the woman.

The two women left the store empty-handed but soon returned to grab the stolen goods.

The officer was admitted to hospital after being exposed to the mace, according to Fox9 .

A Blaine Police spokesman said: "Our detectives have received many tips and we appreciate all of the public's assistance with trying to identify these suspects.

"The investigation remains active however we are confident we will be able to conclude our investigation soon.

"We will provide further updated information if possible."

The two suspects face aggravated robbery charges.
