Woman looks up engraving on bracelet brother gave her and it has very 'petty' meaning

A woman has gone viral on social media after sharing a look at the hilarious gift her brother gave her for Christmas.

Posting on TikTok under the name Ilsa Catherine, she showed off a metal bangle her brother gifted her. She explained how she initially thought it was a "sentimental" item due to the personalised engraving on the front of it.

Her brother had some coordinates engraved on the bracelet, however, when she decided to look up where exactly the coordinates were, she got a bit of a nasty surprise.

It turned out the present wasn't quite as sweet as she'd hoped, as instead of a cute phrase or memory, the engraving contained a "petty" hidden message, calling her a rather cruel name.

She looked up the coordinates (ilsacatherine/Tiktok)

Ilsa entered the coordinates into Apple Maps and they took her to a location in Idaho County.

She kept zooming into the spot, until she found the exact location.

The coordinates were for a place called 'B***h Lake'.

Yes, really.

She filmed herself finding out the truth and shared the video online.

Alongside the clip, she wrote: "I'm telling mom."

Her video quickly went viral, being watched more than two million times and garnering over 421,000 comments.

Most people thought the gift was absolutely hilarious.

One person replied: "Now that is a sibling who knows how to gift."

Another said: "The THOUGHT that went into this!"

"This is golden in many ways," posted a third. "Great gift."

Someone else branded it "genius" while a different person claimed: "I aspire to this level of petty".

A sixth person added: "Well played, sir... Well played..."
