A couple have become unlikely Twitter stars when their very public break-up on a plane was live-tweeted by another passenger.
The awkward exchange was recorded by Kelly Keegs when her plane was delayed before take off in Raleigh, North Carolina.
In it, she gives a rundown of the man attempting to break up with his girlfriend - and she doesn’t take it very well:
Kelly Keegs tweeted: "This guy on the plane just broke up w his girlfriend and she's SOBBING".
And then followed their break-up...
Guy: "Listen. I've learned to get over a lot of things and you need to learn too".
Guy: "I believe the things you said. I believe you're honest with me"
Girl: "Great. JUST GREAT. I'm so glad I paid 40 extra dollars to be on this f**king flight with you"
Girl: "ITS JUST SO MEAN. DO I DESERVE THIS? WHY ARE TOU BRINGING THIS UP"
The man appears to reach the end of his tether:
Guy: "I just can't stand you. I can't be near you. I would switch seats if i could"
Guy: "is this really a surprise? Are you seriously surprised at this information?"
Girl: "well what makes you so F***ING SPECIAL?"
Girl: "you should probably just stop talking. Just stop TALKING!!"
Girl: "I'm going to ask Charlotte. I'm going to ask her the minute we get home and we'll see if your STORIES MATCH" (Omg scandal who's Charlotte?)
But, in a bizarre turn of events, after several minutes of tense silence punctuated by loud sobs, the couple appeared to have kissed and made up by takeoff:
Kelly: "What the f**k? Now they're making out. I'm not kidding."
"We took off, they immediately ordered SIX vodkas and Bloody Mary mix for the 50 minute flight and chugged them in silence between makeouts."
It is unknown what happened to the couple once they'd left the plane.
