Woman, 22, suffers serious injuries after crash on Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion border

A young woman is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion border.

The 22-year-old driver was heading towards Llechryd on the A484 just before 9am on on Saturday, August 22, when she collided with a driver coming in the opposite direction.

The crash happened on a stretch of the A484 between Cenarth and Llechryd near the Newbridge Saw Mills.

Dyfed-Powys Police is asking anyone with information to come forward to help with their investigation.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "We are appealing for information following a collision on the A484 between Cenarth and Llechryd yesterday morning (Saturday, August 22).

"A black Chevrolet Matiz travelling from Cenarth and a red Toyota Yaris travelling from Llechryd collided near the Newbridge Saw Mills at around 8.55am.

"The 22-year-old female driver of the Chevrolet sustained serious injuries."

Anyone who saw the collision or may have dash cam footage of either vehicle filmed at around this time are being asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on their website http://bit.ly/DPPReportOnline, via email at contactcentre@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101.
