A woman is left with a scar after domestic violence flared in Netherburn.
Derek Lambie, 30, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court and admitted assaulting Adele Falconer to her injury and permanent disfigurement. It happened at his home in Honeycombe Place on April 24.
The court heard Lambie grabbed his partner by the hair, shoved her and caused her head to strike the lid of a jar.
Sentence was deferred until September for a report on Lambie’s progress with a community payback order imposed in a previous case.
