Woman left fighting for life after being found injured in block of flats

A woman was left fighting for her life after being found in a block of flats in south Liverpool.

She was rushed to hospital - where she is now in a critical but stable condition - earlier this month.

Police have since returned to the scene following separate reports of an attack.

Emergency services were called to Beechwood Gardens in Cressington on Saturday, March 6 after the woman was discovered with serious injuries in a communal area of a block of flats.

Since that incident police have become aware of reports of an attack at the same location.

Officers have returned to the scene and are continuing enquiries this morning.
