A woman led duo have been arrested after Gardai seized knives, batons and €30,000 worth of drugs in a huge sting in Dublin.
A man and a woman were nabbed by officers after the search of a house in the Loughlinstown Drive area on May 29.
A list of dangerous and offensive weapons including pepper spray and a knuckle duster were discovered during the search with cannabis worth €20,000 and cocaine worth €10,000 found in a vehicle at the property also.
The pair, both in their 30s, were arrested at the scene and are currently being detained at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station.
A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí have seized €30,000 worth of drugs and arrested a man and a woman following a search of a house in the Loughlinstown Drive area of Loughlinstown, Dublin, that was carried out on May 29."
"Cannabis worth €20,000 and cocaine worth €10,000 (both pending analysis) were discovered in a vehicle at the property.
"An assortment of offensive weapons including knives, batons and pepper spray were also seized."
He added: "A man and a woman, both aged in their 30s, were arrested at the scene. They are currently detained at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
"No further information is available and investigations are currently ongoing."
