Woman labels date 'worst ever' after man said she looked 'fatter in person'

A woman was mortified after going on the 'worst date ever' with a man who told her she looked 'fatter in person'.

TikTok star Katelyn Guild shared a video about her experience after going on a terrible date with a man who was late, refused to pay for her drinks, and was then rude about her appearance.

First, he said 'wow, I'm glad you're not a catfish', then went on to tell her that she looked 'fatter in person', but only after ranting about politics.

Katelyn's post struck a chord with her 534,000 followers and the clip soon had over 674,000 views, alongside 100,600 likes and nearly 3,000 comments.

The original clip was uploaded with the caption 'I mean this dating s**t is a hot mess', and begins with Katelyn saying: "Storytime folks.

"Went on a date, worst date of my life. Man was 26 minutes late, we walk in there and first thing out of his mouth was, 'wow I'm glad you're not a catfish' and I said, 'did you really just say that'.

"We proceeded to get into a heated debate about Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan, and politics and all the things you shouldn't talk about on date number one.

"So I asked the bartender for my cheque, and he goes 'good choice, I wouldn't have paid for you anyways'.

"He proceeds to run his mouth about how I look fatter in person, and I wanted to say back 'yeah, a fat a*s that you're never gonna have - cool'.

"Yeah, and quite literally as I'm leaving texts me '#worstdatever'.

"Cheers sir to the worst date I've ever been on, real proud of you - you did good today."

After Katelyn uploaded the video, lots of her fans rushed to her post to comment and wish her support.

One user wrote: "I wish dating apps let you leave reviews to save the next poor soul from this void of humanity."

And another wrote: "Boy thought he was hot in the beginning and soon realised you weren't interested and tried to make it seem like it was his idea, sorry buddy - nope."

"It's not easy to hear but it's a good thing he showed his true colours on the first date before you invested more of your precious self in him", wrote a third.
