Woman knocked down by motorbike in Glasgow city centre

Police have launched an investigation after a woman was knocked down by a motorbike in Glasgow city centre.

Officers were called to the scene on Port Dundas Place, near Buchanan Bus Station, at around 8am this morning.

The woman is now in Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 8am on Wednesday, 15 January, to a report of a woman being knocked down by a motorbike in Port Dundas Place, Glasgow.

"She was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary."
