A woman was killed in a hit-and-run Saturday in West Garfield Park on the West Side.

Tysheaka Roark, 32, was struck by a gray Ford sedan traveling east about 9:50 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Madison Street, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

The male driver fled the scene, while Roark was taken to Norwegian American Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

An autopsy Sunday said Roark died of multiple injuries sustained in the incident, and ruled her death an accident, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Area North detectives and the Major Accidents Unit are investigating.
