A 33-year-old woman was killed Wednesday in a vehicle crash in Grand Crossing on the South Side.
About 6:10 a.m. she was driving north on Cottage Grove Avenue when she crashed into a viaduct in the 7100 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue and was thrown from her vehicle, Chicago police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet released the details of her death.
Area One detectives are investigating.
