A woman was killed in a crash Wednesday in northwest Indiana.
She was in an accident about 11:46 a.m. near 73rd Avenue and Grand Boulevard, near the border of Merrillville and Hobart, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The woman was pronounced dead about 2 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. Autopsy results released Thursday found she died of multiple injuries sustained in the crash. Her death was ruled an accident.
Merrillville police did not immediately respond to a request for details on the crash.
