A 34-year-old woman died Wednesday after crashing her car on the Near West Side.

About 9:25 p.m., the woman was driving her Hyundai sedan northeast on Ogden Avenue when she blew through a red light at Roosevelt Road and struck a Hyundai hatchback and Cadillac sedan, Chicago police said.

The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries, police said. A man in the Cadillac was also taken to Stroger Hospital, and his condition was stabilized.

No other injuries were reported, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not provided details on the woman’s death.

CPD’s Major Accidents Unit is investigating.
