A woman was killed after she was hit by a pickup truck while crossing a street in Albany Park on the Northwest Side Monday evening.
The woman, 59, was struck by a 2018 Ford truck in the 4900 block of North Elston Avenue around 6:30 p.m., Chicago police said.
The woman was taken to St. Joseph Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said. She has not yet been identified.
No charges were filed.
