Woman jumps out of her skin after this absolute monstrosity of a Halloween decoration catches her eye

A woman has shared her hilarious reaction to Halloween decorations spotted in a flat window.

The spooky spectre, in the window of a flat across the road, left her terrified.

She said she's 'never jumped as high in her life'.

The prankster has since come forward, revealing there's a new theme to his decorations every year to give people a jolt.

Just after 8pm on Friday night, October 15, Leonie Grundy said she had finished shopping at B&M in Tyldesley town centre when a frightening sight caught her eye.

The horrible scene was was a ghostly apparition, dressed in a black gown with its eyes lit up, in the window of one of the flats across the road.

Sharing a picture on social media, Leonie said: "Ok so I’ve just been shopping at B&M, started putting my shopping in the car and seen this f***** thing in the corner of my eye! WHAT THE F*** IS THAT?!

"Well done to whoever has created this monstrosity, never jumped as high in my life!"

Leonie followed the message with a number of laughing emojis, showing she has just about recovered from the shock.

"I swore and dropped my bag, it definitely made me jump," she told the Manchester Evening News .

The window belongs to Lee Warren, a Tyldesley resident who decorates his window annually for Halloween - featuring characters such as Pennywise from Stephen King's It.

Lee runs a first aid training company and, due to his work, often uses fake injuries which he then goes on to show off in his Halloween displays.

Halloween marks a time to get creative, give his neighbours a smile - and make a few people.

Lee told the M.E.N: "As a child I was terrified of horror films, but the past five years or so became a fan.

"I love the fact in Halloween Michael Myers is just stood there in the background.

"It's only when you notice him you get the fright.

"Now it's become a hobby and I've even planned next years."

Nearby residents love the tradition, with several commenting "I love it, can't wait every year," and "last year, there was clown on that balcony, gave me shivers every time when I was passing by."

"It's brilliant, they do something different every year," said another.
