Woman jokes she has "childhood trauma" after uncovering old school photos at home

A woman left people in stitches after her school photos turned out to be one-of-a-kind.

TikTok user Kayla left people doubled over after sharing the hilarious pictures from her school days as a youngster.

In the viral video, she explained that her mum sent her to school in a clown costume for Halloween one year.

But it turned out that no other students were dressed up - making Kayla’s day pretty awkward.

Whoops.

The photos went viral on TikTok after Kayla uploaded a video showing a hilarious set of photos from the unfortunate day.

In the video, she explained: “Thinking about that Halloween my mom sent me to school in full clown makeup but no other kids wore costumes.”

Poor Kayla looked *very* unhappy as she sat amongst her fellow students with a full face of makeup and a clown wig.

Her mum even managed to find an impressive-looking clown costume to complete the look.

The video went viral with more than 2.2 million views and thousands of comments since being uploaded yesterday.

In the comments, Kayla said her mum didn't let her remove the wig or face paint - and she took the photos that have now been seen by millions of people.

One viewer joked: "You literally were the class clown."

Another commented: "I would just show this photo to my therapist and say 'this will tell you everything you need to know'".

A third added: "I"m sorry, I'm laughing so hard, I can't stop."

Fellow parents chimed in, with people divided over what they would have done if they'd made that mistake.

One mum said: "She took her time to make you look really good, I know she made a mistake but a lot of parents wouldn't even bother. Please don't judge her too hard."

Another commented: "I swear as a mom, I would have cried and cried knowing my kid was the only one who was dressed in costume."
