Woman jailed for racist tirade missing with children and partner

Police have issued an emergency appeal for help to locate a man, woman and her two children who have been missing from southern Sydney since Thursday, with officials saying they may be in southern New South Wales.

The two children, Luke and Hayleigh Smith, aged 11 and 12, were last seen leaving a home in Willarong Road, Caringbah South, at 4:30pm on Thursday.

It was believed that they were travelling with their mother, Nicole Boyle, 36, and 50-year-old Neville Kerslake.

Inspector Winston Pisani from Miranda LAC said police held serious concerns for the children's welfare.

The police have confirmed it is the same Nicole Boyle who was jailed for a racist tirade on Sydney train last year.

Police said it was possible they have been travelling in a blue 2005 Ford Falcon with NSW registration DNJ 48E.

Anyone who sees the children, woman or man are asked to call Triple 0 immediately.

"If those persons, Mr Kersley, Ms Boyle or the children, are in a position to hear this broadcast we strongly urge that they contact the nearest police," he said.
