Woman jailed after breaking into four houses and using stolen bank card

A woman who stole from houses around Kilwinning and Irvine has been sent to jail.

Lucy Allmark appeared in the dock at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week where she pled guilty to four accounts of housebreaking and attempted theft.

She also admitted another offence of using an RBS bank card belonging to one of her housebreaking victims to purchase £91 worth of goods from Tesco in Irvine.

Between April 2018 and January 2019, Allmark, 24, stole from properties in Almswall Road in Kilwinning and Scott Road in Irvine.

She took a number of valuable items from the homes including perfume, money, an electronic tablet, DVDs, CDs, medication, bank cards and a mobile phone.

She was also found in the curtilage of properties on Glenapp Place on November 24, last year where it was inferred that she intended to commit theft.

Allmark, a prisoner in Greenock Prison, admitted the offences and was sentenced to 10 months behind bars.
