Woman injured in violent robbery outside a takeaway

A woman was punched in a robbery which saw her lose her phone and cash.

The incident happened outside a takeaway in Wells Road, near to the junction with Broad Walk, in Knowle.

It was on August 8 at 11pm.

After an argument broke out between the woman and two men, one of the males got out of a car and punched the woman and stole her phone and some cash.

The two males then fled the scene in the car, believed to be a blue BMW.

The woman, who is in her 20s, was then taken to hospital.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have saw what happened or who may have been driving around the area at the time.

They are also appealing to drivers who may have dash cam footage which shows the blue BMW that was involved.
