A woman has been taken to hospital after she was attacked with a knife during a burglary at her home.
The woman, in her 30s, was assaulted by a man who entered her house in Duleek, Co Meath on Friday morning, April 5.
LMFM reports that a baby was in the house at the time of the incident.
Gardai are probing the attack.
A Garda spokeswoman said: "Gardai in Duleek are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred this morning, Friday 5th April, 2019 at a house in Duleek, Co. Meath.
"One man entered a house, armed with a knife and seriously assaulted the woman (30s) in her home.
"She was taken to hospital for her injuries which are described as non-life threatening.
"Investigations are ongoing."
