A woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash Thursday in Englewood on the South Side.

About 4:30 a.m., a 2021 Chevy Malibu was driving south on Racine Avenue when it struck the driver side of a Toyota in the 1200 block of West 63rd Street, Chicago police said.

The Toyota then jumped the curb and crashed into a building, injuring one of the two women inside, police said. She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center with minor injuries.

The occupants of the Malibu fled the scene of the crash after the accident and were not in custody, police said.
